Maxwell, Johnson return- Mumbai Indian bat

wwwlivecricket.blogspot.com

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma called correctly and chose to bat on a hot afternoon in Mohali, where the maximum temperature is expected to be around 36C.
Kings XI Punjab made four changes to the team that got beaten by nine wickets in Delhi. Opener Manan Vohra was ill and was replaced by M Vijay, who will partner Virender Sehwag at the top. They also left out Shaun Marsh, Thisara Perera and Shardul Thakur and brought in Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Johnson and Karanveer Singh.
Mumbai named the same XI that beat Rajasthan Royals in their previous game.
These two teams are at the bottom of the league but a victory for Mumbai, who are at No. 7, will take them level on eight points with Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils, for a few hours at least. A Kings XI win, however, will not lift them above No. 8 just yet, but they will draw level with Mumbai on six points at the bottom of the points table.
Mumbai Indians: 1 Parthiv Patel (wk), 2 Lendl Simmons, 3 Unmukt Chand, 4 Rohit Sharma (capt), 5 Ambati Rayudu, 6 Kieron Pollard, 7 Harbhajan Singh, 8 J Suchith, 9 Vinay Kumar, 10 Mitchell McClenaghan, 11 Lasith Malinga
Kings XI Punjab: 1 Virender Sehwag, 2 M Vijay, 3 Glenn Maxwell, 4 Wriddhiman Saha (wk), 5 David Miller, 6 George Bailey, 7 Axar Patel, 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Karanveer Singh, 10 Anureet Singh, 11 Sandeep Sharma
